Security is not a tier
Branch scoping, read-only access and the audit trail are on every plan including the trial. They are how the product works, not an upgrade — a version of PawnTeller without them would not be a cheaper product, it would be a different and much worse one.
About the allowance
How counting works
A question is a question
One thing your staff asks counts as one, whether the answer is a single number or two hundred rows. Follow-ups — “and how many closed?” — count as their own question, because that is what they are.
When the allowance runs out
PawnTeller stops and says so, tells the person when it resets, and points them at their administrator. It does not quietly switch to a cheaper, worse assistant. You would find out from the answers, which is the wrong way to find out.
Moving up mid-month
An upgrade starts a fresh period and grants the new allowance in full. What you already used is left behind rather than carried across — buying more should not move you closer to the limit.
Everyone can use it
There is no per-seat charge. Every clerk, every branch manager. Charging per person would mean rationing who is allowed to ask, which defeats the purpose.
Start with the trial
Five hundred questions against your own data, with everything the product does. If it does not earn its place in two weeks, it will not earn it in six months.
